Volunteer

Become a “Champion for a Cause”

The Foundation for Pinckneyville believes that our community volunteers are vital to our continued success. We need volunteers to help us with our 2011 objectives -- upgrading and improving our Pinckneyville Fairgrounds and City Park; adding cabins, campgrounds and upgraded amenities to Pyramid State Park; and providing college guidance preparation to Pinckneyville High School students.  Volunteers are also needed for various other projects throughout the year, like our Masquerade Party fundraiser on Mardi Gras weekend, our Strategic Planning sessions, and our youth mentoring initiative.

    Why should you volunteer?

Volunteering can be far more than just doing a good deed. It can be a great avenue to develop skills, meet new people, acquire new professional contacts, or learn more about happenings in your community.

Volunteering is a speedway for networking, offering the opportunity to cross paths—and  in some cases, become friends—with people from your community, including many with whom you may not have otherwise had the opportunity to meet.

In the process, you are also serving in a valuable position, and helping to move our organization's mission forward. In the end, everyone wins!

If you would like to offer your time and talents to help us, please send your name and contact information to pvfuture@gmail.com.
