STRATEGIC PLANNING. The Foundation and the Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce began a strategic planning update process last May and will complete a vision and initiatives drafts before the end of 2009. Some 25 leaders in the community are meeting monthly to consider what is essential to make Pinckneyville a viable southern Illinois community. In early 2010, we will hold meetings with various Community organizations as well as town hall meetings to obtain additional input.  We will share a synopsis of the vision and initiatives in the next Foundation newsletter.
