W.K. 'Bill' Crawford has been a resident of Pinckneyville, Ill. since his birth in 1920. He graduated from Knox College in 1942 with a BA degree in economics. He enlisted in the Naval Air Corps in 1943 and received his commission and wings as a carrier pilot in 1944. After the war he was employed in 1948 by the Murphy-Wall State Bank and has been Chairman of the Board since 1990.
Chuck Dobrinick was raised in Pinckneyville, IL where he and his family currently reside. In the past, he served as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones Investments. Currently, Chuck is a manager at Perry County Marketplace in Pinckneyville. He is a past President of the Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce, serves as a board member for the Foundation for Pinckneyville, is an active participant in the Pinckneyville Strategic Planning Committee and is a past President of the Pinckneyville Optimist Club.
Irl F. Engelhardt was raised in the Pinckneyville, Illinois area, where he currently manages White Walnut Farms. He is also Chairman of Patriot Coal Corporation and is a member of The Williams Companies Board of Directors. Irl is also Chairman of the Illinois Rural Heritage Museum and is a member of The Foundation for Pinckneyville board and serves in various charitable organizations in the St Louis area. Irl was named a Lincoln Laureate (the State of Illinois' highest honor) in 2007 for his philanthropic work in his home town. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Peabody Energy and the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Gayl S. Pyatt is a retired attorney having practiced law in Pinckneyville, Il. for 30 years. Gayl resides in rural Pinckneyville and serves as Secretary of the Foundation for Pinckneyville. She is also a member of the board of directors of the University of Illinois Foundation, serves as a Regent and the Vice Chancellor of the Lincoln Academy of Illinois, and as a commissioner on the Illinois Executive Ethics Commission.
Chad Rushing was born in Atlanta GA, and was raised and currently resides in Pinckneyville. Chad graduated from Rend Lake Community College and then went on to Graduate from Central Missouri State University with a BS in business. He spent the past 16 years building his business as an Independent Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services in Pinckneyville. Chad serves as a member of the board for the Foundation for Pinckneyville.
John Shotton was born in Marion, IL. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, with a BS in Mining Engineering. He spent 33 years in the coal industry serving in different engineering and management positions. He retired in 1996 as VP of operations with Consolidated Coal Company. He currently serves on the Pinckneyville Community Hospital board of directors. He and his wife Nina reside in Pinckneyville.
Gene Stotlar, MD was born in Hurst, IL in 1927 and has been a resident of Pinckneyville since 1932. Gene graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1951. In 1955, he joined his brother, Dr. James B. Stotlar and Dr. G.H. Edwards in medical practice in Pinckneyville, where he practiced for 36 years. During this time he served on the Pinckneyville Grade School Board, the St. Bruno School Board, and the Rend Lake College Foundation. He retired from medical practice in 1991. Gene continues to be involved in education, only recently retiring from the Rend Lake College Foundation. He has two sons, Richard and William. Gene currently resides in Pinckneyville with his wife, Ramona.
Mary M. Roe has been a resident of Pinckneyville since early childhood and is a retired college administrator. Mary is a two degree graduate of Southern Illinois University. She has served on the SIU Alumni Association National Board of Directors, Morris Library’s Board of Visitors, Pinckneyville High School board and is currently chair of the Southern Illinois Work Force Investment Board and a member of Man-Tra-Con, Inc., Board of Directors. Mary serves as a member of the board for the Foundation for Pinckneyville.
David R. Pirsein is President and CEO of First National Bank in Pinckneyville and has been an active community member for over 25 years. He currently serves on the Pinckneyville Community Hospital Board, is a Chamber member, and an active participant on the Pinckneyville strategic planning committee. David previously served two terms on the St. Louis Federal Reserve Board, representing community banks in the Eighth Federal Reserve district. He currently serves as President of the Foundation for Pinckneyville.
